EXTERIOR INSTALLATION

CLEAN REGULARLY with a garden hose, occasionally using a non-bleach detergent, or non abrasive cleaning products and gentle soaps.

REGULAR OIL AND GREASE should not harm the surface and can be wiped up with a paper towel.

TAR can be easily removed with kerosene only

BATTERY ACID should be kept off the coating.

GASOLINE can discolor the surface. Avoid over filling the tank. If a spill does occur, rinse immediately with water and dab (do not rub) with a paper towel.

TRANSMISSION FLUID should not be left on the surface for more than a few hours. Wipe up with a paper towel.

TIRE SKID MARKS require PROFESSIONAL touch-up by your Starkrete Installer. This can be done for a small fee

FERTILIZER and INSECTICIDE: Some products can damage the coating. If rust or discoloration develops, call your Installer for professional removal or touchup.

SNOW REMOVAL: We recommend using a plastic tip shovel. Snow plows will scratch your concrete surface. If a scratch appears please contact your Starkrete Installer for touch-up. This can be done for a small fee.

ROCK SALT: We recommend using sand. Do not recommend the use of Rock Salt or De-Icers.

SEALER: We recommend resealing high traffic surfaces yearly. You may purchase a high quality sealer from Starkrete. You may also purchase a less expensive sealer from Lowes or Home Depot. The sealer product may be applied by Starkrete or you may apply the Sealer with a roller or sprayer.
COUNTER INSTALLATION

HOT OIL AND GREASE should not be allowed to come into direct contact with the countertop surface. Clean up immediately

HOT PLATES, POTS & PANS should not be placed directly on the countertop surface. Burn marks should be taken care of by a professional. Contact Starkrete, these can be remedied for a small fee.

CUTTING directly on the countertop surface should not be performed. Scratches should be taken care of by a professional. Contact Starkrete, these can be remedied for a small fee.

SEALER: We recommend resealing concrete countertop surfaces as needed. Some countertops may not need to be resealed for a period longer than one year. Resealing should be taken care of by a professional. Contact Starkrete to review your countertops to see if they are in need of resealing.
INTERIOR INSTALLATION

MAINTENANCE: We recommend waxing high traffic interior surfaces as needed. This may be as often as weekly for high traffic areas or longer for low traffic installations. You may purchase a floor wax that will withstand high traffic and apply it as directed.

We recommend resealing or applying another coat of epoxy over you installation periodically. Please contact Starkrete for a professional to do this.
